BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. Unless otherwise agreed the Villa will be rented on a weekly basis with rental starting on a Wednesday. In some instances other days may be arranged by agreement.
2. Prices are based on 4 sharing. Additional persons will be charged at £50 per person per week to a maximum occupancy of 6 persons.
3. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required upon confirmation of the booking.
4. An English/Spanish holiday rental agreement will be completed in the interests of all parties.
5. The rental balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the rental.
6. In addition a refundable deposit of £100 will make up part of the invoice and will be returned at the end of the rental period assuming no liability for breakage/damage or excess cleaning.
7. When the booking is made with less than 6 weeks notice the full rental will be paid upon confirmation.
8. In the event of cancellation of the booking within 6 weeks of the start of the rental period a rebate of the rental balance will as follows:
less than 6 weeks notice: 15% of rental balance less than 5 weeks notice 30% of rental balance less than 4 weeks notice: 45% of rental balance less than 3 weeks notice: 60% of rental balance less than 2 weeks notice: 80% of rental balance less than 1 week’s notice: 100% of rental balance
Note: The cancellation date will be defined as the date upon which we receive the written notice of cancellation.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover these and other unexpected costs.
9. The Villa will be available from 14.00 hours on the first day of the rental period (unless otherwise agreed).
10. The Villa must be vacated by 10.00 hours on the last day of the rental period (unless otherwise agreed).
11. No refunds will be made for late arrival or early departure.
12. The Villa, it’s grounds, furnishings and fittings must be left in a similar condition to that in which they were found upon arrival. In the event of damage or loss, the client occupying at the time will be responsible for any repair or replacement.
13. Any damage or breakages must be notified immediately to our property managers in Fuerteventura. The situation will be viewed sympathetically wherever possible as long as notification takes place prior to the post holiday inspection.
14. The owners or their agents reserve the right to inspect the property during the rental period. Any inspection will be ideally by prior appointment with the client or if necessary by 24 hours notification.
15. The client together with all the occupants undertake not to disturb the neighbourhood and any noise should be kept to an acceptable minimum between the hours of 22.00 hours until 08.00 the next day.
16. The rent is inclusive of standard utilities (electricity and water). Clean bed linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis. Towels are not to be taken outside the Villa.
17. A community swimming pool is in the process of being completed three doors away from the Villa. Its use will be free to occupants of the Villa only. The occupants are required to abide by all rules and regulations relating to its use, particularly those relating to safety and hours of use. The owners and their agents cannot be held responsible for the safety of occupants nor if for any reason this facility is not available because it remains outside their direct control.
18. It is forbidden unless with authorisation in writing from the owners or representatives to have in the Villa the following:
i. Inflammable or explosive materials; ii. Sub-letting or transmission of the Villa whether partially or totally, freely or charging for it; iii. To have staying in the Villa more people than stated in booking or contract; iv. Any illegal drugs; v. Any pets. vi. Any smoking
By placing a booking you are accepting the terms and conditions set out above. Breach of these conditions may necessitate you leaving the accommodation without refund. Upon receipt of the final balance for your holiday we will send confirmation of payment, provide further details about the Villa how to find it, our agents, and about the keys.
